In his works he included themes or excerpts from various works, utilizing the already existing artistic experience and this method confirmed in practice the saying of the great thinker André Malraux about the “Imaginary Museum” that connects all works of art with each other.

In many of his works there are references to some of the world’s most famous painters, while in others he copies a part of their work or even recreates it, in a certain way a variation. At other times, being in a dialogue with a specific artist, he transfers one of his works to today’s reality. It is a very interesting process, familiar of course to all the great painters of modern times. Warlamis also wanted in this way to remind us of these great painters and to stimulate us to study their work and life.
