STUDIES, LITERARY WORKS

Warlamis had a penchant for writing from an early age. It was in 1958 when, as a student, he won a scholarship from the then Royal Family of Greece for an essay he had written, and this was the reason he was able to travel abroad from a relatively young age.

He was fluent in Greek and German and could write in both languages.

Here we will mention most of the books he wrote or translated into Greek. Several of them were translated into other languages.

There are also his unpublished works that we hope to be able to publish. In writing he was as prolific as in painting. He was very passionate about the subject he was tackling and usually completed it in a short time.

He also loved poetry very much. He always wrote poems, and his first collection of poems was published, while still a student, in 1958 by the Gounaris printing house in Veroia. In the period 2012 – 2014, during an intense period of his life, he wrote more than 200 poems, part of which we managed to publish after his death in 2019.

Almost all of Warlamis published books are out of print so their digitization by the Public Central Library of Veria is valuable.

Warlamis’ books that have been published in Greece are:
