ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS IN AUSTRIA
The commercial building of the electrical goods company Expert Hörmann was built in 1998 (member of the Expert chain). The design of the facade and the interior elements were made by E. Warlamis based on the architectural direction that follows Robert Venturi’s “Las Vegas” theory of the “decorated shed”. The arch shape of the facade responds to the gentle hill shapes of the surrounding landscape.
The renewed facades of the buildings on Schiffgasse and Lampigasse (streets) in Vienna were made in 1993 with designs by Varlamis and aim to enrich the stereotypical image of the city with colors and ceramic elements and offer more art in the public space.
